West Wind Energy is a wind development company with one currently active project in southeastern Wyoming. It is our goal to foster communities to bring renewable energy development into regions where such resources are under used. We're one of many partners working to create a renewable energy environment in the United States and the world.

With a full year of data under our belt, we have a solid map of our resource. Year two will tell us how consistent our first year of data was.  More data is always better.  All of the equipment is holding up nicely, even in the sub freezing temperatures of southern Wyoming in the winter only yielded two frozen days.  NRG Systems makes a great tower.  We're very pleased with its performance.

Now it's all about finding a place to send the energy.  We have the resource pretty well identified, as well as land control.  Transmission is the next hurdle to bringing our project to life.

• Go the to Tri State G&T scoping meeting
• Have a network interconnection study completed for our resource on the potential transmission provider.
• Start environmental impact studies.
